Paul Sadler, Democratic nominee for the United States Senate, announced Thursday that he is stepping up on his listening tour across Texas. Sadler said he hoped voters would get the opportunity to hear the platforms of both candidates through debates. Tea Party extremist Ted Cruz, however, has agreed to limited debates and has spent considerable time attending fundraisers with lobbyists in Washington, DC.

“I’ve travelled over 5,000 miles in the past month,” said Sadler. “I’m listening to Texans worrying about the oil and gas industry and the future of our state, worrying about the wind industry, worrying about the cost of college education, worrying about their social security, their Medicare, their Medicaid.” Continue reading →
