I have just returned to Austin after finishing the last leg of my Tour Across Texas. It has been a long few weeks, but I believe it has been well worth the effort. I am proud to say that I was able to connect with voters from every region of the state and have been encouraged by the response my campaign.
Thank you to all of those who have contributed to my campaign. Your donations have allowed me to make the trip across the state, to build my campaign, and send my message to every region of Texas.
Tomorrow, I will be traveling to my hometown of Henderson to cast my ballot in the Democratic Runoff Election. I hope every voter in Texas makes the trip to the polls tomorrow because every vote matters. This election is not simply a choice for the Democratic nominee, rather this election will decide who is best able to defend Texas values against damaging Republican ideas.
All Texans deserve a voice in the United States Senate, we deserve the right to represented fairly and honestly, not by those who would pander to the extreme right to score worthless political points. It is time for Texans to take back their state and stand up for the rights of all individuals.
